Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Remote Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at OrganicBazar, a leading eCommerce brand in the gardening sector. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience related to our core products, such as seeds, grow bags, and other gardening supplies. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone.
  • Provide accurate information about our gardening products and services, including seeds and grow bags.
  • Assist customers with product recommendations based on their gardening needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or supervisors as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, especially for gardening products, and company policies.
  • Handle customer feedback and suggestions to improve the customer experience.
  • Adhere to company policies on confidentiality and data protection.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English. Proficiency in regional Indian languages is a plus.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, basic technical troubleshooting, and eCommerce tools like Shopify.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in handling customer information and inquiries.
  • Empathy and Patience: Ability to empathize with customers and handle challenging situations calmly.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Reliable internet connection, a functional laptop/desktop, and a distraction-free workspace.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in a customer support role, especially in a remote setting.
  • Experience in the eCommerce or gardening industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of gardening practices or organic farming would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with Shopify, WhatsApp, or other eCommerce customer support tools.
