Job Description

The Physician must be able to fulfill the following requirements:
  • Exclusively partner with Health Pals to provide treatment bundles for your patients
  • Work with our existing Physicians and our Chief Health Officer, Felicia Eddings, Pharm.D., to create Protocols and Collaborative Practice agreements with Pharmacists
  • Consult with Pharmacists regarding clinical cases, patient treatment, and value-based care
  • Review Pharmacist chart notes
  • Analyzes and investigates concerns using our Quality Management System
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
  • Provides health education and coaches Pharmacists to assist them in best decision making for your patient population (e.g. Dry Eye or Contact Lens patients)
  • Exhibit excellent clinical skills and judgement
  • Display efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a great team player
  • Be capable of utilizing computers and patient databases for clinical management purposes
  • Be proficient in the following types of Software:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Zoom
  • Cisco Webex
  • Google Meet
