Roles Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional technical support services to stakeholders.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, networks, operating systems and applications with hands-on experience in Windows Servers 2008, 2012 and 2016 (both in-house and cloud).
• Managing, maintaining and developing all servers and associated operating systems, including Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, Oracle, HANA, Virtual Machines (VMs), open-source platforms, Citrix applications, G Suite, storage solutions, DR sites and data center operations.
• Ensuring strict adherence to group information security policies while reporting and documenting any security breaches.
• Managing backups and restores for all systems, ensuring successful execution.
• Writing scripts for interfaces, including SFTP data exchanges.
• Planning, migrating and managing the hosting of applications and tools on cloud
  platforms across multiple service providers.
• Providing 1st and 2nd line support to IT staff, customers, partners and board members
  to resolve complex technical issues.
• Demonstrating strong expertise in firewall management and antivirus management.
• Managing and troubleshooting email solutions such as Office 365.
• Troubleshooting technical issues across various platforms: Windows, Linux, Mac,
  Outlook, OneDrive and applications.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, telephony systems and
  multiple site internet connections.
• Maintaining the IT Service Desk system, ensuring incidents and requests are
  acknowledged, resolved and documented effectively.
• Performing daily, weekly and monthly system administration tasks for networks and
  hardware, providing performance reports to the Head of IT.
• Setting up user profiles and managing password issues.
• Prioritising and managing multiple open support cases simultaneously.
• Providing basic software training and guidance for end-users.
• Maintaining and updating the IT hardware and software inventory.
