- CM - Claims shall be responsible for the efficient and fair administration of various claims and notices. He/ She will work with a variety of stakeholders, including project managers, finance, legal team, and suppliers/ service providers.
Their responsibilities include :
- Evaluating the merits of claims, investigating circumstances, and determining appropriate compensation. Ensuring claims are handled accurately and in accordance with contract terms.
- Management, administer and analyse various types of Wind Project Contracts for Technology & Licensing, Engineering, PMC, EPCM, LSTK (EPCC, Open book Convertible to LSTK, Cost reimbursable with Fixed Fee, Cost plus) Construction & Maintenance, in order to mitigate risks and increase operational performance.
- Apply Contract principles, practices, regulations, applicable laws, legal principles, as relevant for Contract and Claim Management.
- Enhance effectiveness of Claim Management in a structured manner through SOPs, Templates and training.
- Identifying potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate them, and monitoring the contract to ensure that risk levels remain within acceptable limits
- Supporting the legal department in resolving disputes, litigation, and arbitration. Drafting and managing legal correspondence to contractors and suppliers.
- Partner with the Procurement Manager and Project Manager for timely resolution of change orders/claims with respect to time, cost and other commercial terms/issues.
- Drive cross Functional decisions for effective functioning and achieving desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with all stake holders and drive the design and execution of innovative cost reduction strategies with a focus on Life Cycle costs
- Provide domain expertise and thought leadership for Design, Testing and Adoption of relevant applications in Digital Platform, in order to optimise work flows, promote transparency, unlock value of contract data and mitigate risks.
- Build a sustainable team, identify skill gaps and competency development in specific areas.

Strategic:
- Plan and develop a detailed project development plan
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Financial:
- Balancing adherence to budgeted costs along with high quality delivery
- Ability to manage Contractors/ OEMS and Vendor
Operational:
- Ability to develop an ecosystem of partners supporting gathering ofbusiness information, market analysis, collaboration with agencies and soon
- Should be good in planning and scheduling using MS projects and Primavera
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and withinbudget
People:
- Excellent leader known for his/her ability to develop, motivate and build strong functional teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/EPC. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
