Job Purpose: Process Audit for Retail Lending Operations units across India

Department: RAO CCU Process Audit

Location: Kanjurmarg Mumbai

Job Responsibility -

Process Implementation & Documentation - Do Process Audit for Retail Lending Asset Operations unit having segments such as Business Banking, Working Capital, Bank Guarantee, Mortgage, CTG, Instalment loans, Emerging Corporate Group, etc. Check documentation of existing processes, Operations manuals, policies, Operations checklists, document formats, etc. Give feedback on existing processes, post process walkthroughs and process audits and recommend corrective actions.

Process Reviews & Improvements - • Assess existing processes with an objective to mitigate Operational risk, Fraud risk and ensure Compliance in all processes. • Recommend process changes, wherever required as outcome of process walkthrough and process audit & follow-up the same till implementation of the same. • Review observations highlighted in Internal Audit report, Statutory audits, RBI audits, Concurrent audits, SOX Audits, and so on & recommend processes / systems in place to avoid recurrence.

System Enhancements - • Identify areas of automation & recommend the same. • Get audit observations resolved.

Regulatory changes - • Review regulatory circulars / guidelines and ensure that the same is implemented and followed across lending operations.

Risk Review & Mitigation - • Monitor exceptions reported in internal health-checks / system gaps & highlight long pending items to Seniors and take the same to closure.

• Conceptualize & recommend new health-checks / reconciliations as well as get the same implemented

Transaction monitoring - • Ensure audit of transactions are done and published to all stakeholders & recommend corrective actions for gaps identified. Monitoring of suspense accounts as well.

Other activities - • Track critical items for conducting audit on periodic intervals & appraise Senior Management with findings and follow up with stakeholders for completion thereof. • Handle critical projects and activities assigned by Senior Management from time to time.
