Job Description: Senior Java Backend Developer

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend components, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
• Optimize and maintain high-performance applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define application requirements and architecture.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Manage database integration, optimization, and maintenance (SQL/NoSQL).
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks to continuously improve the development process.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Expertise in database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of system design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React) is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
