AI ML - Computer Vision - Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead AI ML Developer specializing in Computer Vision to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of AI ML developers, designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision models, and ensuring successful delivery of AI ML-based solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a solid technical background, and a passion for innovation in AI and Computer Vision.

Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep Learning Frameworks: Extensive experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
• Computer Vision Libraries: Proficiency with OpenCV, Dlib, Scikit-image.
• Image and Video Processing: Experience in data preprocessing, augmentation techniques, and data annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, Supervisely).
• Model Architectures: Familiarity with CNNs (e.g., ResNet, VGG), R-CNN, YOLO, Mask R-CNN, and other object detection architectures.
• 3D Data Handling: Knowledge of 3D computer vision techniques (e.g., point clouds, 3D object detection) and frameworks like Open3D or PointNet is a plus.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS (SageMaker)
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for version control.
• Extensive experience with large language model frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LLaMA) and cloud-based ML services like SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries such as PyTorch, Chainlit, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI/ML developers specializing in computer vision.
• Oversee the design and development of computer vision models for diverse applications (e.g., object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to integrate computer vision solutions into broader AI and software systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research in AI, deep learning, and computer vision, evaluating new techniques for potential application to enhance product offerings.
• Coordinate with other technical leads and stakeholders to define and execute team goals.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development with a strong focus on computer vision.
• 2+ years of experience in leading or mentoring teams in AI/ML projects.
• Proven track record of deploying computer vision models in production environments.
• Experience working with large-scale image/video datasets, model optimization, and cloud platforms.
