Job description

Key areas of operation would include:

Follow up a project from design to execution.

Co-ordinate with sales, marketing, site engineers, consultants, in-house engineers, contractors.

Site visits and supervisory functions as and when required.

Prepare project documentation.

Design residential and commercial buildings as per prevailing municipal regulations and signing of the plans.

Coordinate with site execution teams

Coordinate and handle process of approval

Prepare working drawings and sales drawings during construction stage

Coordinate with design consultants to seek updates, present drafts and incorporate feedback

To coordinate and scrutinize structural drawings, working drawings, service drawings, sales drawings, brochure drawings, etc.

Track projects for delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Arch/M.Arch from an institute of repute.
• Council of Architecture Registration Number is mandatory
• Excellent command on primary software tools like ACAD, MS Office
• High-working proficiency with tools like 3D Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop, BIM etc.
• Sound knowledge in Design Management and Design Delivery Quality Control.
• Must have undertaken a couple of projects in its complete lifecycle with hands-on information on design standards, rules/regulations (in the country of operation), industry standards, global trends and design benchmarks.
• Must have a working understanding of MEP & Structures, so as to interact with other disciplines and prepare cohesive design concepts/solutions.
• Note: Any specialised courses or certifications would be advantageous during the charting of the candidate's future career progress based on his/her performance in initial years & proclivity to the nature of the business conducted by the firm

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ability to create innovative & practical design for Residences, Commercial spaces, Hotels & Resorts.
• Should sign on the architectural drawings wherever needed.
• Pre-Design Management
• End to End ownership in meeting clients, gathering client requirements, site coordination, material selection.
• Conversant with providing detailed material specification, site supervision and execution.
• Complete drawing sets to be released keeping every detail in mind. Ensure all the Line drawings, 3-D layouts & GFC drawings are provided well in time, along with material specifications.
• Attention to detail, carefully following instruction and checking work for accuracy.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good communication and client handling skills.
