Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

1. Database Design and Development:

• Design and implement database structures and systems to meet business requirements.
• Optimize database performance through effective schema design and indexing.

2. Maintenance and Performance Tuning:

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Conduct regular maintenance, including updates, upgrades, and patches.
• Tune database systems for optimal performance and scalability.

3. Backup and Recovery:

• Develop and manage database backup and recovery plans.
• Perform regular backups and conduct tests to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications Education:

• B-Tech, MCA or Higher.

Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Database Administrator.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Expertise in database management, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with database security, encryption, and compliance standards
• Knowledge about ORM will be added advantage

Certifications (Preferred):

• Oracle Certified Professional
• Microsoft Azure Certified
