Job Description
We are looking for a Senior SW Automation Engineer to join our team and y ou will report to the Director, Core Automation, Broadband business unit.
Location
Hybrid role working at 3-4 days a week from our office in Bangalore.
What you will be doing:
- Dealing with Customer requests received directly
- Clarification of requirements, design and implementation of automation tests
- Develop in the existing automation infrastructure based on Python for complex embedded systems
- Cooperate with scrum teams: SW, HW and manual QA
Tools:
- Python: Python 3.9, PyTest, Paramico, DataTools
- Source control: Git, Bitbucket
- CI: Jenkins
- Virtualization: Kubernetes, Docker
- Tests/Tickets management: JIRA, TestRail
What you should have:
- 3+ years of relevant commercial experience in Test Automation
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Python development
- Good knowledge in networking (L2/L3)
- Basic knowledge with UNIX/Linus OS
- Intermediate and above English (read/write/speak) for communication with the remote teams and subject matter experts
- B. Sc. in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Team player, sharing knowledge and striving to achieve team goals.
- High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively.
