Project Overview

Were seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer to work on cutting-edge automotive projects for a renowned German OEM. Youll develop and execute testing strategies using Selenium and Appium for mobile applications.

Job Summary

Design, develop, and execute testing frameworks using Selenium and Appium for mobile applications in the automotive domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated testing scripts using Selenium and Appium.

2. Collaboration: Collaborate with German OEM teams to understand testing requirements.

3. Scalable Solutions: Implement scalable, efficient, and reliable testing solutions.

4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.

5. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

6. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

7. Mentorship: Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

1. Experience: 3-6 years of experience in mobile testing with Selenium and Appium.

2. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Selenium, Appium, and mobile testing principles.

3. Automotive Domain: Experience in automotive domain (connected car, infotainment, etc.).

4. CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

5. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills.

7. Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skill

- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of automotive-grade Linux (e.g., GENIVI)
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms
- Certification in Selenium or Appium
- Experience working with OEMs or automotive industry
