Accounts Officer @ Leading Pharma Company - Mumbai

Greetings of the day!

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive with 2-5 years of experience in SAP (preferably S4 HANA) in handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliation statements, invoice processing in SAP, basic understanding and knowledge of GST, TDS, Fixed Assets and other statutory compliances.

Job Description:

1. Prepare and execute payment to vendors, employees ensuring timely and accurate disbursements in coordination with treasury. Monitor and resolve payment delays or issues and accurate accounting of bank transactions in ERP SAP S4 HANA.

2. Monthly Bank Reconciliation including FDs, accrued Interest, Loans (WCDL, CC, FCY Term Loan, PCFC etc.) and accounting of the same in SAP ERP S4 HANA.

3. Preparing accurate financial reports such as AP ageing reports, AR ageing reports, identify and resolve unmatched or outstanding items in AP reports.

4. Processing of Invoices in SAP (PO & Non PO invoices), credit Notes, debit Notes, down payment processing for various site locations, ensuring accuracy of transaction processing and ensure adherence to statutory liabilities like GST, TDS etc.

5. Oversight of Goods Receipt (GR)/ Invoice Receipt (IR) and timely clearing of open line items and following up with various internal Department on timely basis.

6. Assisting in preparing and filing of TDS working and returns, GST Returns and audits and other statutory compliances.

7. Maintaining Fixed Asset register in SAP, periodic depreciation run, asset retirement in SAP, Sale of fixed assets etc. and its accounting in SAP S4 HANA.

8. Support general accounting functions including month end closure like preparation of journal entries, prepaid expenses, outstanding expenses and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

9. Ensuring timely and accurate cost center wise expense accounting and preparing plantwise and cost center wise reports from SAP S4 HANA.

10. Support internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations as and when required.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting and related Fields
• 2-5 years of Experience in Finance & Accounts (preferably Manufacturing Industry)
• Proficiency in accounting software SAP S4 HANA and Advance MS Excel including Pivot Tables, GST Software etc. (Experience in Implementation of SAP would be added advantage)
• Knowledge and understanding of TDS, GST and other statutory compliance.
