Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our team in Dallas, TX . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, dbt, SnapLogic, and Python . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable data solutions while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, SnapLogic, and Python .
- Implement ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses/lakes.
- Develop and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with governance policies.
- Utilize dbt to build SQL and Python-based transformation models within Snowflake.
- Manage SnapLogic pipelines for seamless integration of on-premise and cloud data.
- Write Python scripts for advanced data processing and automation tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Snowflake , including schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with dbt for SQL/Python-based transformations in Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SnapLogic for data integration workflows.
- Advanced Python programming skills for data processing, API handling, and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and their data services.
