Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to streamline code releases and manage deployments while maintaining infrastructure efficiency. The ideal candidate will focus on automating workflows, improving system reliability, and integrating new features seamlessly. You'll work across teams to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and scalability, while driving continuous integration and delivery through advanced tools and processes like Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, and AWS services. This position involves a blend of hands-on technical work and team leadership to implement best practices in DevOps and cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, development, and testing environments using automation tools.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and other deployment automation tools.
• Design, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud environments, including EKS, for high availability and scalability.
• Automate deployments and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Deploy and manage databases like MySQL and MSSQL in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, including vulnerability assessments and risk management protocols.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, and propose improvements.
• Mentor and guide team members on best DevOps practices and automation strategies.
• Integrate tools for logging, monitoring, and alerting using the ELK/ELS stack.
• Foster continuous improvement by streamlining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to implement technical solutions and demonstrate them to stakeholders.
• Report on system performance, operational metrics, and project progress to management and clients.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, RDS), managing traffic with Envoy Proxy and managing container deployment using Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Github Actions.
• Skilled in implementing Cert-Manager for certificate management, Cloudflare for security and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with database management systems like MSSQL and MySQL.
• Skilled in scripting languages (Python/Ruby/Perl) and automation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux-based infrastructure, shell scripting and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (ELK/ELS stack).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with conatiner technologies such as Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
• Proven experience with Jenkins, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Familiarity with cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership in project management and cross-team collaboration.
