Roles & Responsibilities :

- Drive and own end to end integration automation testing.

- Ability to plan and execute the software system integration and test activities, reviewing requirements specifications for testability, leveraging use cases in support of test case development, planning and executing improvements to the test environment and infrastructure.

- Develop a comprehensive set of automated and manual tests, tracing tests to requirements to ensure complete test coverage.

- Identify and diagnose firmware defects, verifying firmware correctness, and reporting results.

- Manage firmware verification efforts to meet cost, quality, performance, and schedule requirements.

- Develop test plans, procedures, descriptions, and reports for delivery to internal stakeholders including the project manager and technical lead.

- Assess risk associated with the efforts and develop and execute risk mitigation plans.

- Apply knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, as well as in-depth knowledge of assigned product or technology area in guiding the direction of software test efforts.

- Regularly prepare, present, and defend project technical results and recommendations to external customers and internal high-level management.

- Ability to translate Product level specs into work scope.

Experience :

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Software System Integration, manual & Automation Testing.

Critical Success Factors :

- Hardware end to end automation testing experience.

- Ability to develop software test environments and test scripts to achieve automated test for embedded software.

- Demonstrated experience using scripting languages (such as Bash/shell, Perl, Python etc.)

- Experience in testing Power constraint/Battery operated devices.

- Exposure to multiple high level programming languages including Python, C++ and C.

- Proficient in TCP/UDP and HTTP Protocols or any wireless technology ex : RF/BLE/Wi-fi/Zigbee.

- Experience in handling Programmable Power Supplies/Current meters.
