Office 365 Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Deliver subject matter expertise of Office 365 with emphasis in security, architectural design, migration, management and support of implementations.
• Provide overall Office 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft cloud app security, Azure Information Protection, Data loss prevention, Information Rights Management, Intune (Conditional access/ MDM), single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security).
• Demonstrate consultative capabilities by providing value added information to clients for connecting technology, security and the business value of Office 365.
• Lead in ongoing Office 365 security projects and strategy discussions.
• Stay abreast of all developments in Office 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
• Document Security procedures, guidelines, training material and best practices

Academic qualification:

• BE/BTech Computer Science/Information Security degree preferred.
• Relevant Microsoft cloud security certifications such as:

MS 101 (Microsoft Mobility and Security).

AZ 500 (Microsoft Azure Security Technologies).

Experience (exposure):

• Total experience 4 - 8 yrs.
• Hands on experience with MS security solutions as:

• 365 ATP Defender
• Endpoint Manager (Intune (Conditional Access \ MDM \ MAM)
• Azure AD Identity protection
• Defender for Cloud Apps
• Defender for Office 365
• Azure Sentinel
• single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security) .
• An excellent knowledge of Information Security principles and an understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK and other information security defense and intelligence frameworks.
• Experience with scripting PowerShell
• Experience with Office 365 tenant permissions (Tenant \ Security & Compliance Centre \ Exchange Online).
• Experience with MS Clients (Outlook, Outlook for Mac, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices) and OneDrive for Business
