Instrumentation Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Installation: Set up and configure instruments, sensors, and control systems for various applications.
• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with instrumentation and control equipment, using both manual and electronic tools.
• Calibration: Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, operators, and other technicians to ensure systems function effectively.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while performing tasks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electronic principles, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Education: Associates degree in instrumentation technology, electronics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Relevant work experience in industrial settings; familiarity with process control systems is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and think critically.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
