Senior Research Fellow

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the NASF scheme with the project duration or end of the project whichever is earlier. The engagement in the project along the tenure is purely on a contract basis subject to satisfactory performance. Details of qualifications, emolument and duration of the project:

Eligibility Essential Qualifications: Master s degree in plant Physiology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Biochemistry or in relevant subjects. The candidates must have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE or equivalent OR Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. Desirable qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience in Agrobacterium mediate genetic transformation of mustard, particle gun mediated transformation of plants, genome editing of plants, molecular cloning, Molecular analysis of transgenic plants.
