Eligibility

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in plant Physiology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Biochemistry or in relevant subjects.
The candidates must have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE or equivalent OR Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.

Desirable qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience in Agrobacterium mediate genetic transformation of mustard, particle gun mediated transformation of plants, genome editing of plants, molecular cloning, Molecular analysis of transgenic plants

Work

-Development of genome edited lines
-Molecular characterization of genome edited lines
- Phenotypic and physiological evaluation of genome edited lines

Age Limit

Maximum 35 years for men. For women/SC/ST/OBC, an age relaxation of 5 years will be
given as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.

Duration

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the NASF scheme with the project duration or end of the project whichever is earlier. subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate
