We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Project Manager - FP&A and FR to lead a qualified team of analysts, oversee and ensure timely delivery of projects for clients - both domestic and overseas.
This role provides a valuable and challenging opportunity for professional growth, with the chance to lead impactful projects for global clients and work alongside a team of experienced senior professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP or IFRS
- Enhance and refine internal control processes for better efficiency.
- Perform detailed profitability analysis, segment reporting, utilization analysis, business plans, and prepare complex financial statements.
- Provide audit support for multiple geographies
- Prepare various presentation decks for board meetings, management review meetings, etc
Effective team management:
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of analysts. Set team goals and objectives, mentor, train and motivate the team to ensure timely deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members
- Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations and updates
- Identify training and development needs for team members
- Provide coaching and support to team members
Project Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope, timelines and resource requirements
- Lead the project teams in executing plans, ensuring adherence to quality and timely deliverables.
- Proactively address issues to ensure project success and client satisfaction
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve project goals efficiently
- Provide leadership and guidance
Client Management:
- Establish a strong rapport with clients, be readily available to address their needs, concerns, and inquiries while adhering to timely deliveries.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services to existing clients
- Monitor client satisfaction
- Provide insights to improve client offerings and maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong leadership skills, and a total of 8 years of exp including a minimum of 4 years in team management and mentoring.
- Proven experience in agile project management with track record of successful project delivery
- Skilled in managing team workload, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability within the team
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Expert knowledge on Excel financial modelling techniques and standard practices
- Strong knowledge of analytical tools and techniques and consolidation tools
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Candidates must possess strong business acumen, should be very agile and quality-focused in their work approach and must be willing to be very hands-on with delivery alongside the team
