Cyber Security Engineer - SIEM Tools (7-14 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security professionals to join our growing team in Mumbai.

In these critical roles, you will be responsible for leading and implementing cybersecurity strategies, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's assets.

You will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber threats, and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.

- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize security threats.

- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.

- Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).

- Incident Response & Management: Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.

- Develop and maintain incident response plans.

- Conduct security awareness training programs for employees.

Security Operations :

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions.

- Monitor security alerts and events, investigate security incidents, and take appropriate action.

- Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Threat Intelligence & Vulnerability Management :

- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

- Conduct threat intelligence gathering and analysis.

- Implement vulnerability management programs, including scanning, patching, and remediation.

Team Leadership & Management :

- Lead and mentor junior security professionals.

- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7-14 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk management.

- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.

- Hands-on experience with security operations and incident response.

- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
