Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as SPOC for the Architecture/Solution for end-to-end ecommerce ecosystem
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy for our applications involved in e-commerce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Define and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards that support scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the adoption of new technologies like AI, machine learning, and personalization engines
• Communicate architectural strategies and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in
• Ensure the e-commerce architecture supports high availability, performance, and scalability to meet business demands, especially during peak shopping periods
• Implement best practices for security and data privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Establish and enforce governance processes for architectural changes, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards
• Participate in scoping, estimating efforts etc.
• Contribute to white papers, blogs
• Contribute to Pres-Sales Activities

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of experience in PIM (Salsify, Akeneo, Syndigo etc) and Java / J2EE , JavaScript.
• Experience implementing PIM with two different products (like Salsify & InRiver) is mandatory.
• Design the overall architecture of the PIM system, including data models, workflows, and integration points.
• Design and implement integrations between the PIM system and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, e-commerce platforms, and DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems
• Customize the PIM solution to handle specific business needs, such as product attributes, categories, and classifications, workflows
• Experience with Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN)
• Experience in implementing security measures to protect sensitive product information, including access controls, encryption, and audit trails.
• Experience planning for scalability to accommodate growing data volumes and increasing numbers of users and integrations.
• Experience in web services (REST & SOAP).
• Knowledge/Experience with any public cloud like AWS, AZURE, GCP is an added advantage.
• Very strong experience in designing medium to large enterprise applications.
• Should have knowledge on messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS etc.),
• Exposure to Authentication, Authorization, SSO using JWT, OAuth, SAML is required.
• Experience in Pre-Sales - defining end to end solution architecture covering technical, deployment architectures and non-functional & performance aspects and drive proposals.
• Experience in Retail - Ecommerce domain is mandatory.
• Very strong implementation experience using Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, and clean code principles.
• Should have client facing experience and have worked in matrix organization & onsite-offshore model.
• Experience in using estimation techniques like (Use-case, FP, Story points).
• Experience in creating presentations, demos to customers and internal management team.
• Experience in Agile execution methodology is mandatory.
• Should have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in Practice related Activities like Develop POC, Accelerators development, Tools/Framework/Platform evaluation, contribution to Marketing collaterals.
