Role and Responsibilities

Define and implement automation test processes, strategies, and approaches for complex test requirements with support from the Technical Architect and get buy-in from different stakeholders.

Define test assessment strategies for client project requirements. Analyze competitive products and technologies and makes appropriate suggestions (may use demos, POCs) to influence product/technology direction.

Provide a practical approach to complex product testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for regression testing.

Be creative and proactive in using current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.

Review product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases.

Skills and Experience

Masters/Bachelors degree or equivalent.

10+ years of experience in testing.

4 - 5 years of experience in Software Automation and associated tools, frameworks, and infrastructures.

Familiar with the basics of Messaging architectures Preferably Kafka

Expertise in working directly with customers and Center of Excellences (CoEs).

Hands-on experience in designing various Automation Frameworks like hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, etc.

Good understanding of multiple open-source tools like Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest assured JavaScript).

Nice to have e-commerce experience with one or more out of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Hybris, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript.

Expertise in leading the automation team.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Prior development experience and knowledge of other automation tools are desirable.
