D365 Business Central Finance Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
Analysing and recording customer requirements during virtual customer-client workshops, with a particular focus on financial processes and requirements.
Advising and instructing the customer on the best use of Microsoft Dynamics D365 BC functionality to suit their financial business requirements.
Producing appropriate documentation to a high standard according to Nexer s project methodology and phase, with an emphasis on financial processes.
Ensuring that the Microsoft Dynamics D365 BC implementation, including pertinent ISVs, is correctly configured to ensure the financial processes run as defined.
Designing Microsoft Dynamics D365 BC modifications to allow the customer to perform any financial processes which have been identified as gaps.
Testing and documenting the modifications that have been designed and introducing the finished modifications to the customer.
Presenting to prospects and customers at all levels of the customer business, with a focus on financial stakeholders.

Experience and Skills:
Significant previous D365 BC Consultancy experience with multiple ERP implementations, including multi-country/currency and project operations.
Extensive experience in Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgets and Financial Reporting.
Experience of working within a proven implementation methodology.
Business Central experience within a Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution business, with a strong emphasis on financial processes.
Familiarity with finance-related BC ISVs such as Continia Document Capture Expense Management, Jet Reports, Fenwick Advanced Dimension Advanced Approvals, Yavrio Open Banking, and exchange rate connectors (e.g. XE and ECB)
Ability to work effectively in a remote, offshore capacity while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with UK-based clients and teams.
