SENIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Your main mission will be the development of automation projects and their start-up in the Steel sector, for electric arc furnaces, continuous casting, fume extaction and additive systems. The development will include the programming of PLCs, Scadas and Industrial robots.

Main Responsibilities:

 Realization, coordination and execution of automation projects until their commissioning..
 Programming of PLCs, HMIs and Scadas from the existing functional descriptions.
 Optimization of the processes ensuring the integration of new technologies.
 Preaparation, coordination and monitoring of planned tasks.
 Configurate the networks communications.
 Preliminary tests with the machines, CCMs, Inverters, etc.
 Assitance and resolution of incidents in the commissioning.
 Any other task inherent to the position.

Requirements

 Education: Technical Engineering or Electronic Degree or similar; expert in automation and industrial control.
 Experience: mínimum 5 years of experience as an engineer in the automation and insutrial control area; desirable 10 years. Valuable knowledge and experience in the field and Steel industry.
 Knowledges: automation and industrial control; development of programming of automat and Scadas; knowledge to interpret process and instrumentation diagrams; experience with Profibus and Profinet communication network.
 Languages: mínimum Level B2 of English, C1 preferred.
 Software: Siemens Step 7; Wincc; Wonderwore; valuable other softwares.
