ServiceNow Engineer/Integration Specialist - ITSM Module (7-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow App Engine and Integration Specialist - Architect to design, implement, and optimize workflows and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow ITSM, App Engine, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer, along with expertise in APIs, web services, and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Design & Development :

- Analyze integration requirements and design scalable and efficient solutions using ServiceNow platform features.

- Develop, configure, and test integration workflows using Flow Designer, spokes, and custom API calls.

- Configure and manage integration connections using REST, SOAP, JDBC, FTP, and other protocols.

- Leverage out-of-the-box spokes and create custom spokes as required.

Implementation & Optimization :

- Optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Ensure compliance with security standards, including OAuth 2.0, basic authentication, and API key management.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define integration requirements.

Post-Implementation Support :

- Provide post-implementation support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Implement enhancements and train internal teams on integration workflows and ServiceNow best practices.

Documentation & Standards :

- Document integration designs, workflows, and configurations comprehensively.

- Establish and maintain coding standards and best practices for integration development.

Required Experience & Skills :

- Minimum 7+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform.

- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine for building custom apps.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow Integration Hub and Flow Designer for designing and implementing workflows.

- Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other web service protocols.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, CSM, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and Workflow Orchestrator.

- Proven experience integrating with third-party systems like Azure AD, Entra ID, and Okta.

- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other security protocols.

Preferred Skills :

- Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

ServiceNow certifications, including :

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM

- CIS - Integration Hub

- Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
