About The Role :

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux, Server Side Rendering). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is important.

Responsibilities :

- Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability

- Provide website maintenance and enhancements

- Determining the structure and design of web pages

- Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines

- Collaborate with members of the website team, including designers and back-end developers, to consistently improve the functionality and user-friendliness of web applications

- Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms

- Ensuring web design is optimised for smartphones

- Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface

- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

- Promote usability best practices

- Write reusable code and libraries (with matching documentation) to a standard which makes it quick and easy to maintain the code in the future

- Optimise websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds

- Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems

Skills And Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in a front-end development role

- Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge

- High level of proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as React

- A high level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system

- Solid experience in using a complex REST API from the client side

- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them

- Good knowledge and practical experience of testing tools like Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, etc.

- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Experience with front-end unit testing & integration testing

- Some exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline for cloud

- Portfolio or samples of past work and projects
