This team relies heavily on the Micro Services architecture and interfaces with most of the services and functions across the breadth of Groupon Tech Stack Developing software at Groupon is challenging, fun and rewarding. And no place embodies this more than the GSO Engineering Team.

Be a polyglot! You have a lot of brain space going to waste so fill it with some programming languages like Java, Javascript, Ruby, and Python.
Be an architect! Discover how writing clean test-driven code is the foundation of our architecture and impress your friends with your micro to macro knowledge.

You ll spend time on the following:

You will develop custom solutions in Salesforce for our sales, service, and marketing teams
Collaborate with other product and engineering teams integrating with our services
Manage the full software development lifecycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment
You will develop integrations with Groupon micro-services

We re excited about you if you have:

BS, MS or PhD in Computer Sciences or related fields with 6+ years in software development
Experience with Salesforce APEX, Triggers and SOQL.
Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components a plus
Experience with Javascript ES6 and client-side frameworks a plus
Good communication and collaboration skills
