Job Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
About Us:
Naturals Salon, India's No.1 beauty salon chain, is expanding its footprint into the Aesthetic Dermatology space while continuing its legacy of excellence in the salon and spa industry. We are seeking a visionary Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead our HR function, aligning people strategies with business goals to support our dynamic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives, including business expansion into new verticals.
- Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and employee engagement through robust initiatives.
- Champion employee experience and retention strategies.
Policy Development & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.
- Ensure adherence to whistleblower policies and ethical practices.
Learning & Development:
- Oversee the creation and implementation of training programs to enhance skills and competencies across all levels.
- Drive leadership development and performance management programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Design competitive compensation structures and benefit plans to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage payroll, performance-based rewards, and recognition programs.
HR Analytics & Technology:
- Leverage HR data analytics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation of HR technology solutions to streamline processes.
Conflict Resolution & Legal Compliance:
- Address employee grievances and ensure harmonious industrial relations.
- Manage union interactions and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., MA in Social Work with HR specialization).
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in FMCG, Retail, Healthcare, or Service industries.
- Proven track record of handling HR functions for multi-location operations.
- Expertise in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements in India.
