Quality Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Automated Testing Development: Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts using programming languages Java.
• Collaboration: Work alongside product management, application development, and DevOps teams to plan and coordinate testing efforts.
• Testing Strategy: Develop comprehensive testing strategies that include unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing to validate system performance under various conditions.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the testing process.
• Root Cause Analysis: Analyze production defects and issues identified during testing to improve product quality.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior test engineers in automation practices.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Maven.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Understanding of database technologies and experience with SQL for backend testing.
