Job Description

Job Summary:

Review incidents in incident logging system (Origami applications) for unexpected event resulting in injury or having a serious potential for injury or damages. Review date, time, and location where the accident took place, review extent of damage to a person or property. Incident reportable or not reportable to Insurance company. File a claim with your insurance company and ask them to assign a surveyor to evaluate the loss. Common incidents are car accident, or property damage. Investigating incidents if need to report for insurance claims or fraudulent activity by reviewing records, and reviewing documents like PMA, certificate of insurance, coverage, contract dates.


Essential Responsibilities:

1. Bridge the communication gap and address all incidents and act as per request raised.

2. Review incidents in Origami and pull required documents from on it application, consolidation, correct documentations and make sure to save Organization cost involved in legal cases.

3. Analyze incidents and categorize in different category to prioritize the legal complex high priority incidents to process claims.

4. Communicate with team members, business managers, and other departments to answer questions, provide support and ensure timely completion of incidents.

5. Seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting.


Other Responsibilities:

1. Completes online training for self-development, CSR activities and prepare ad-hoc reports and requests as necessary.

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Working Conditions:

  • Incumbents work in an office environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Incumbents must be able to view computer screens and other electronic equipment, paper reports for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting/Insurance or other related field and two (2)+ years of relevant work experience or internships.
  • Customer service experience to handle incidents for injuries, accidents.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Employment history that demonstrates the knowledge, application, and decision-making skills and deliver considering compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills utilized in effectively collaborating with team members at all levels throughout the organization as well as 3rd party consultants.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, Yardi, Origami, Onit
  • Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet, analysis, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create and generate spreadsheets and reports.
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive can do attitude with desire to learn, train and develop in the role
