German Teacher - Greenwood High International School-Sarjapur Campus

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging German language lessons.
• Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and participation.
• Support students in preparing for the German language exams, including internal assessments and the IB final exams.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary learning and share best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in German language education and IB teaching methodologies.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
• Provide additional support to students through extra help sessions or tutoring as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in German Language, Education, or a related field.
• C1 level Teaching certification or qualification in German (preferably for IBDP).
• Previous experience teaching German at the IBDP level is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
