Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage biology-related curriculum and programs to meet the educational goals of the institution.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in biology to ensure the curriculum remains cutting-edge and relevant.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences that integrate biology with other fields.
- Guide and mentor students in academic research projects, ensuring adherence to ethical research standards.
- Organize and lead field trips, lab sessions, and practicals, providing students with hands-on experience in biological research and experimentation.
- Assess student performance through examinations, practical evaluations, and research projects, offering constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Participate in faculty meetings, contributing to discussions on curriculum development, resource allocation, and institutional planning.
- Stay involved in departmental and institutional efforts to acquire research funding and grants for biology-related initiatives.
- Support outreach programs to enhance the institution's connection with the broader scientific community, schools, and other educational institutions.
- Adhere to institutional policies and contribute to the creation of an inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
