PBCS Consultant

We are looking for candidates with strong development and technical expertise. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

Mandate Skills:

• Development Experience: Preference for candidates with more development and technical experience rather than support experience.
• End-to-End (E2E) Implementation: Must have completed at least 3 end-to-end implementation projects.
• Groovy Expertise: Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting is a must-have. If not, candidates with good knowledge of Groovy and experience working in teams that use Groovy will be considered.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Experience: 5-10 years of experience in implementing one or more Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technologies.
• Oracle PBCS/EPBCS Expertise: At least 4+ years of experience in implementing Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS) or any other EPM modules.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of Financial Accounting, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting concepts.

Technical Skills:

• Hyperion Planning and Essbase: Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase cube builds using PBCS, and data management for metadata and data loading.
• PBCS Development: Expertise in developing PBCS calculation scripts, building load rules, data management, metadata building, and identity management.
• EPM Automator & ASO Cubes: Good understanding of EPM Automator and ASO cubes with data management expertise.
• Best Practices: Ability to leverage best practices from previous architecture and implementation experience for constant support and continuous improvement within the Hyperion application environment.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to support more efficient financial analysis.

Additional Requirements:

• Individual Contributor Role: This is an individual contributor role requiring a high level of independence and ownership.
• Avoid Support Backgrounds: We are specifically looking for candidates with a development background, not those with primary support experience.

Key Highlights:

• Groovy Scripting: Essential for the role; candidates without hands-on experience will only be considered if they have significant exposure or knowledge of Groovy in team projects.
• E2E Implementation: A minimum of three full-cycle implementation projects is non-negotiable.
