Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance/Account Manager to oversee financial planning, management, and reporting for our organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring the companys financial health by managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and creating strategies to enhance profitability and growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads. Monitor and forecast financial performance, identifying trends and variances. Provide financial projections and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
2. Accounting and Compliance: Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
3. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Generate detailed financial reports and present insights to senior management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance.
4. Risk Management and Internal Controls: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Maintain strong internal control systems to prevent fraud and ensure financial accuracy. Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals. Set team goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
6. Collaboration and Strategic Support: Work closely with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business goals. Support key projects and initiatives by providing financial guidance and analysis. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including banks, investors, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Finance, Accounting (Masters/MBA preferred).
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or CA drop-out is highly desirable.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
