Job Description: AGM/GM - Strategy (MD's Office)

Overview:

The AGM/GM - Strategy will work closely with the Managing Director (MD) to drive corporate strategy, business expansion, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate must have experience or exposure in management consulting and a strong background in the EPC or energy sector with global exposure to support strategic initiatives, market growth, and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute corporate strategy, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and global expansion strategies.
• Apply consulting frameworks to solve business challenges and drive transformation.
• Lead strategic projects, ensuring execution and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, providing insights for growth.
• Drive process improvements, digital transformation, and efficiency initiatives.
• Provide industry insights, track regulatory changes, and assess global market trends.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and business cases for leadership decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: MBA (Strategy, Finance, or General Management) from a reputed institution.
• Experience: 10-15 years in corporate strategy, consulting, or leadership roles in EPC, Energy, or infrastructure sectors with global exposure. Consulting experience (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big 4, etc.) preferred.
• Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of EPC projects, power generation, renewables, hydrocarbons, or industrial infrastructure across multiple geographies.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, financial modeling, and proficiency in MS Office & ERP systems.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and adaptability.

Reporting:

• Reports to the Managing Director (MD) with cross-functional collaboration.
• Requires international exposure and occasional travel for business meetings and site visits
