Assistant Facilities Manager

Role & responsibilities :

• Assist the Facility Manager in day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the property.
• Coordinate and supervise housekeeping, security, landscaping, and other third-party vendor services.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are maintained at optimal levels and identify areas for improvement.
• Handle tenant/occupant complaints, queries, and requests promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor and manage budgets related to maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records related to facility operations.
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules and emergency response procedures.
• Support the Facility Manager in coordinating refurbishments, renovations, and special projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Facility Management/Engineering/ Business Administration.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in facility management or property operations, preferably in the real estate sector.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in facility management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
