SAP SD Consultant - S/4 HANA Module (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Data Cleansing for Migration :

- Lead and execute data cleansing activities to prepare master data for migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

- Identify, analyse, and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and redundancies in ECC master data.

Migration Strategy & Execution :

- Develop and implement data cleansing strategies and processes tailored to the migration from ECC to S/4HANA.

- Work with the data migration team to ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.

Data Analysis & Transformation :

- Perform data analysis to assess data quality and identify areas for improvement.

- Transform and standardize data according to S/4HANA requirements and best practices.

Data Extraction tools :

- Should be proficient with methodology, tools and skillset needed for Data Extraction, Cleansing and Filtration related activities.

- Key requirement needed will be deep knowledge in writing SQL queries or using third party tools to cater to the process.

- Nice to have skill will be that candidate could have exposure to working with BODS or Syniti or similar data extraction tools

Collaboration & Coordination :

- Collaborate with project managers, data stewards, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and address data issues.

- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on data quality and migration best practices.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Document data cleansing processes, data quality issues, and resolutions.

- Create and present reports on data quality metrics, progress, and migration status to stakeholders.

Compliance & Best Practices :

- Ensure that data cleansing and migration activities comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.

- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA and data migration best practices to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications :

Education :

Job Description :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

Experience :

- Proven experience with SAP Data Migration and worked extensively in Data Extraction,

- Transformation and Loading, particularly in the context of migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

- Should have worked on De-duplication and Data profiling activities

- Having good skills particularly in Data Extraction and Transformation

- Having exposure to SAP MDG methodology and modules

- Hands-on experience with SAP data migration tools and methodologies.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures, master data management, and data migration processes.

- Have knowledge of SAP MDG modules and data governance principles

- Proficiency in data cleansing, data transformation, and data quality management.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity.

Certifications :

- SAP MDG certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
