Lead Vehicle Engineer - 3W

1. Lead VI (principal engineer)
1. Location : Bangalore
2. B.TECH Mechanical
3. Will report to Head Vehicle Engineering
4. Experience :

i. Min 10 Years in automotive R&D, Preferably few years in vehicle integration domain (in 3wh or 2wh or 4wh), ICE or EV

ii. Must be involved in some automotive projects from concept to sop.

iii. Should know Basic Vehicle regulation (homologation requirement) for L5 / L3 and L2 category of vehicles

iv. Should be expert in vehicle Layout preparation / sub system and component packaging. Expert in vehicle level DMU preparation, identifying potential clashes and interference between system

v. Defining vehicle level architecture, defining sus system of mechanical and electrical.

vi. Basic knowledge of vehicle subsystems like steering / wheel brakes / suspension / TRIMS / BIW / controls etc.

vii. Knowledge of vehicle level validation and testing plan, component level design validation plan

viii. Should have manged multiple automotive projects at a time, knowledge of projection management, monitoring project milestones, managing enginer change notices, communicating project status and critical issues to all stakeholders.

ix. Working closely with cross funcation teams, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing teams.

x. Proficiency in 3d CAD software (catia or nx)

xi. Should know DFMEA, DFA, DFS, DFM

xii. Should have problem solving ability, identification of root causes and develop effective solution on technical problem.

xiii. Excellen written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross functions teams
