Aftermarket Sales Manager

1. Sales and Business Development:
   
• Drive retail sales of farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, seeders, sprayers, and other agricultural machinery.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers (farmers, agricultural businesses, cooperatives, etc.).
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and sales pitches to educate potential customers about equipment features and benefits.
• Prepare and deliver detailed quotations and pricing options for customers.
2. Customer Support and Service:
   
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support to customers, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the purchasing process.
• Assist customers in selecting the right equipment based on their specific agricultural needs.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, including product availability, financing options, and service requests.
• Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after-sales service.
3. Market Analysis and Reporting:
   
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions.
• Monitor customer feedback and product performance to identify areas for improvement in sales or service.
4. Product Knowledge and Training:
   
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of John Deere or the respective brand's farm equipment, technologies, and agricultural trends.
• Attend product training sessions and industry events to stay informed about new launches and innovations in the field.
• Educate customers on the latest advancements in farm equipment and assist with product demonstrations and trials.
5. Dealer Coordination:
   
• Work closely with other sales and service teams within the dealership to align marketing efforts and ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.
• Ensure that the dealerships showroom is well-maintained with proper inventory management and product displays.
6. Financial and Administrative Tasks:
   
• Assist customers with financing options, including working with the finance team to facilitate loans or leasing options.
• Maintain accurate customer databases and manage all sales documentation, such as invoices, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Process sales orders and handle payment collections in a timely manner.
