It Recruiter

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical IT Recruiter to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for technical roles within the IT industry, with a deep understanding of various programming languages, technologies, and IT job functions. As a Technical IT Recruiter, you will play a key role in identifying top-tier talent for roles in software development, network administration, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and other IT-focused positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment Process Management:
• Source and recruit candidates for a variety of IT positions, including software developers, network engineers, data scientists, and system administrators.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job description creation to candidate onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and create accurate job specifications.
• Post job openings on relevant job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting channels.
• Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
• Use advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn, and niche job boards to find qualified candidates.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify top talent based on technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidates technical knowledge, communication skills, and qualifications.
• Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers and technical leads.
• Relationship Building:
• Build and maintain a network of IT professionals to ensure a strong pipeline of talent.
• Develop relationships with candidates, providing a high-touch recruitment experience.
• Maintain candidate engagement throughout the interview process to ensure a positive experience.
• Job Offer and Negotiation:
• Manage the offer process, including negotiating salaries, benefits, and start dates.
• Communicate offers and respond to candidates' questions related to the position, company, and benefits.
• Reporting and Metrics:
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, and source effectiveness.
• Provide regular updates to the HR and hiring teams on recruitment status.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as an IT recruiter, technical recruiter, or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of IT job functions and technical skills such as programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#), network technologies, cloud computing, and databases.
• Familiarity with different recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow) and job boards.
• Skills:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Certifications (Optional):
• Certification in IT recruitment or related HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• Experience recruiting for niche or hard-to-fill technical roles.
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and other software development processes.
