Experience Required: 5-8 years in product management within E-commerce or Q-commerce industries

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic Q-commerce startup in Bangalore as the first hire in the product team. This role is pivotal to building and scaling our product journey from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a hands-on product leader with experience in 0-to-1 or 1-to-10 product development, ready to contribute as an Individual Contributor (IC) initially and gradually transition to building and leading a product team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap:

- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's objectives.

- Collaborate closely with the founders and cross-functional teams to prioritize features and initiatives.

2. Product Development:

- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirement gathering to launch and iteration.

- Deliver scalable, user-centric solutions that address customer pain points and create value.

3. Customer-Centric Approach:

- Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and stay updated on market trends to inform product decisions.

- Continuously improve the product based on user insights and performance metrics.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery.

- Communicate the product roadmap, updates, and performance to stakeholders effectively.

5. Initial IC Role:

- Take complete ownership of the product function as an Individual Contributor in the initial stages.

- Build processes, frameworks, and best practices to streamline product development and management.

6. Team Leadership:

- Gradually build and lead a high-performing product team.

- Mentor, groom, and hire team members to scale the product function effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5-8 years of product management experience in E-commerce or Q-commerce industries.

- Proven track record of building and scaling products in 0-to-1 or 1-to-10 journeys.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and product development tools.
