Manager Controllership

Manager Controllership is responsible for:

Taxation Compliance

- Oversee timely and accurate filing of indirect and direct tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Review the data being used for filings and ensuring timely submission of data.

- Review of GLs related to taxation and share monthly reports to management.

- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

- Develop and implement indirect tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.

- Provide advice on the indirect tax implications of business initiatives and transactions.

Financial reporting and audit

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure review of GL accounts i.e. Receivables, Payables, Advances etc. to avoid financial risk.

- Understand new business initiatives and transactions and advice on accounting treatment and required controls.

- Support business by providing solutions to unique problems.

Requirement:

Good communication skills considering close involvement with CFD, Tax consultants and other teams.

Controllership experience (preferably in taxation) (4-7 years).

CA (Inter) or similar educational qualification
