Sales Officer
Job Objective
To generate sales of Retail Asset products in order to achieve the Banks targeted market share, profitability and volume on its Retail Asset business.
Primary responsibilities
Strategic and planning

Functional
Visit Sangams to create awareness among the existing customers regarding the Retail Asset products offered by the Bank.
Identify the loan requirement needs of the existing customers in the area through regular interaction and enquiries.
Conduct approved marketing and sales activities regularly to increase the visibility of the bank and to create interest in the Retail Asset products of the bank and create new customers.
Conduct preliminary check on interested customers based on the leads generated and passed on by the Area Sales Manager.
Maintain leads generated data and follow up with Credit officer to know the status of loan.
Conduct regular collection activities as per approved guidelines of the bank to avoid payment default.
Internal process
Ensure that all activities are carried out as per established standard operating procedures.
Prepare reports for management and statutory bodies ensuring its accuracy and timely submission.
People development
Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of daily operations.
Continuously strive for self-development by actively seeking opportunities for growth.
Ensure adherence to timelines for completion of performance appraisal for self.
Take responsibility for identification of training needs and completion of mandatory training programs/certifications for self.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
