Component Engineer

• Education: Diploma/ Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in component engineering, PLM systems, and/or product lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems, with hands-on experience in data management, supply chain, and procurement processes.
• Experience with PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile PLM) and integrating these tools with other enterprise systems.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of engineering design processes, product development stages, and component sourcing.
• Familiarity with component engineering best practices and methodologies for managing technical specifications, part numbers, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Knowledge of data management principles, version control, and part standardization.
• Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities, with experience in interpreting technical documents and manufacturing data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product development, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records within PLM and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with product compliance standards (e.g., RoHS, REACH, IPC standards) and regulatory requirements for components.
• Experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Certification or training in PLM systems, Microsoft Dynamics, or Project Management.
