The Graduate Trainee - Documentation role is focused on supporting our team in creating content for our process and technical documentation. Similar positions or industry roles include Documentation Specialist, Technical writer or Content Creator. Success is defined by delivering high-quality content to our stakeholders. You will be challenged to create content from scratch by understanding the process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Learn how to create and format documents under the guidance of existing writers.
Assist in the creation, editing, and formatting of process and technical documentation.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather and organize content for documentation.
Learn and apply specific documentation standards and style guidelines.
Work on developing basic knowledge of tools used for document creation and management.
Apply basic editing and proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Completed a bachelor s degree in engineering or information technology or a related field.
Strong interest in technical writing or documentation as a career.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft word is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of technical concepts (software, hardware, or process-related) is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Open to feedback and continuously seeking improvement.
