Intercompany Process Manager - Global Projects

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end intercompany processes, including cost allocation, invoicing, and reconciliation for global projects.
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and global accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
• Monitor intercompany agreements to ensure accurate and consistent documentation for all transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of intercompany balances across all regions and entities.
• Generate detailed reports on intercompany activities, discrepancies, and resolutions for management review.
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to address reconciliation challenges and audit requirements.
• Leverage ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI, CO, PS modules) to automate and streamline intercompany workflows.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as the primary point of contact for intercompany queries and issues across global entities.
• Work closely with procurement, project, and regional finance teams to ensure seamless intercompany integration.
• Support audits and compliance reviews by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for intercompany transactions to ensure consistency across entities.
• Identify and address gaps in current processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to align with best practices and global standards.
• Ensure timely execution of deliverables and maintain accountability for team output.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Preferred candidate profile

The Intercompany Process Manager Global Projects is responsible for managing and optimizing intercompany transactions, processes, and reporting across multiple regions and entities. This role ensures compliance with global accounting standards, timely reconciliation, and seamless collaboration among project, finance, and regional teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in intercompany processes, ERP systems (SAP), and leadership skills to oversee a centralized team supporting global projects.

Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in intercompany projects operations, accounting, financial operations, or shared services roles.
• Strong expertise in managing global intercompany transactions and compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP) for intercompany workflows
• In-depth knowledge of intercompany accounting principles, tax compliance, and transfer pricing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve intercompany discrepancies.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with a collaborative mindset.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for working across regions and functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

Technical Skill / Requirements

• Knowledge & experience in SAP Project Systems & FICO module
• Data management & Analysis tool
• Excellent MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
• Knowledge of visualization software skills (PowerBi)

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Masters degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIMA
