Company provides a mission-critical, integrated global solution for Commodities Management, used by mining companies, smelters, and traders to manage the sale, purchase and financials of base and precious metals like copper, gold, silver and lead.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Build and modify SQL Server stored procedures, functions and triggers.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server database objects to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide support for Microsoft SQL Server database code and performance.
• Create training materials and documentation for internal and external users.
• Assist in project implementations depending on business needs.
• Conduct data analysis to support business operations.
• Collaborate with the technical and commercial teams for mining industry solutions.
• Continuously learn about the mining industry and its technical and commercial aspects.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands on experience in MSSQL.
• Proficiency in T-SQL coding and scripting in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working with SQL Server objects like stored procedures, functions and triggers.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Expertise in complex arithmetic and statistical analysis.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with the mining industry or financial operations in commodities management.
• Project implementation experience.
• Knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Minimum 60% aggregate with no active KTs (Known Test Failures).
