Manage strategic third-party relationships including governance, performance and issue management across multiple stakeholders
Conducting Quality Check Assurance around Vendors Management space to determine accuracy levels, gaps and open risk - Implementing corrective and preventive measures
Equipping Vendor Relationship Owners with skills, training, and awareness on their roles
Liaising with Senior stakeholders across multiple divisions, representing team in working group/forums and driving initiatives related to Third Party Risk Management
Advises, challenges, and informs the businesses on recommended ways to mitigate risk; reviews actions items to ensure that risk is being sufficiently addressed
Acts as a culture carrier by embedding in the team or region; propagates a risk mind-set and awareness of Operational Risk
Leading regular risk meetings, partnering with the business lines to understand the residual risks that exist after issues are raised and engage across the front to back to remediate/apply lessons learned to improve our risk and control framework
Implement quality assurance and testing approaches for vendor engagements by understanding the procedures, doing quality checks for balancing risk and control
Build data tracking and management tooling which can be leveraged for reporting to senior stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
This role requires an energetic self-starter that can liaise across Global Banking and Markets both regionally and globally. Solid understanding of the global markets franchise offered by the firm and experience within a risk management context are required. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills along with an interest in the broader control environment within financial services are essential to succeed in this role.
8+ years risk and governance experience in a business / Non-Financial Risk management/Third Party Risk Management within Financial industry pertaining to vendor services/ applications and trading platforms
Hands on experience in conducting QA/ Internal Audits/Regulatory Exams/SOX certifications related to Third party vendors of business functions/ processes
A deep understanding of the different risk domains pertaining to third parties (e.g., Information/ Cyber Security, Cloud concepts, Privacy, Compliance, BCP etc.) and their unique requirements
Strong control mindset with a passion for risk management
Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate issues and ideas with different levels across Global Banking and Markets stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows, and excellent attention to detail using metrics to identify trends and themes.
Innovative, including a keen eye for identifying areas of control enhancements and automation which have practical value. Good influencing skills to challenging the status quo and continuously enhance the control environment. There is also opportunity within the role to learn and apply advanced analytics software to develop low code risk management solutions.
