Our legal team acts as a key business partner to proactively assess legal risks, shape business direction, and drive decision making. You will report to our Legal Counsel and work closely with our business units and partners across India to provide practical and commercially focused legal support and advice.
Your Delivery
Providing legal support for GoGoX on a broad range of business and operational matters
Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements to support the day-to-day aspects of the business.
Able to collaborate and to facilitate achievement of business objectives under all applicable laws and regulations.
Reviewing, commenting on, and driving business initiatives from a legal perspective
Contribute knowledge and experience on documents, business plans and/or strategies.
Regularly monitor, establish and maintain legal governance such as policies and procedures.
Maintaining and optimising our filing system for contracts, corporate records, and other key documents
Conducting legal research on a range of topics
Actively identify and manage legal risks.
Our Request
Strong academic track record, with a law degree from a reputable school or university
Qualified to practice law in India or other common law jurisdiction (non-qualified candidates will only be considered if he/she has substantial work experience)
1 to 3 years post qualification experience gained at law firms and/or in-house (experience at a logistics or technology company would be a plus)
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Hindi is required. Proficiency in additional major languages in either the Indo-Aryan or Dravidian family of languages will be an advantage
Experience in providing practical advice for general commercial matters.
